Graham set for £284m London Met Uni revamp

The contractor will tackle a wide-ranging function spanning capital works supply and whole amenities administration throughout the college’s London campuses beneath a deal operating to 2031, with an choice to increase to 2036.

Underneath the deal, Graham will lead new construct and refurbishment schemes, present buildability and lifecycle recommendation at design stage and take duty for ongoing FM companies as soon as property are handed over.

The masterplan for the principle Holloway Highway campus in Islington was drawn up by Design Engine Architects, consulting engineer Buro Happold and price marketing consultant Gardiner & Theobald.

The campus plan will contain demolishing buildings to create a significant courtyard house behind the award-winning Daniel Liebeskind pupil constructing on Holloway Highway and a whole overhaul of the 12-storey tower subsequent to it.

Work on the Aldgate Campus and Accelerator constructing will focus extra on constructing refurbishment and upgrades.

The deal is anticipated to be formally signed later this month.
