The eight-year deal is value as much as £20m a 12 months and covers deliberate and emergency upkeep throughout the utility’s sewer community, delivered 24/7 year-round.
It cements a 25-year relationship between Esh and Northumbrian Water, with the framework seen internally as a cornerstone contract for the regional builder.
Esh will perform conventional and trenchless sewer repairs, together with pipework rehabilitation and manhole replacements. Sewer blockage clearance will make up the majority of day-to-day work.
Round 200 employees from Esh and drainage specialist Jet Aire – its primary supply companion – will help the framework.
Esh operates from County Durham and Cramlington and can run a regional supply mannequin centered on native recruitment and provide.
The award follows Esh’s current spots on the Ecosystem Framework and the Esh-Stantec three way partnership on the 12-year Dwelling Water Enterprise Framework.
